Tala Security has been named a 2020 RSAC Innovation Sandbox Finalist
Tala has some exciting news to share - The RSA conference, by far the largest security industry conference in the world, recognized Tala as one of the top 10 most innovative security startups in the world. We have been named a finalist in RSA's prestigious Innovation Sandbox for 2020! The contest is one of the most fiercely contested and has turbo-charged security startups by putting their tech and problems front-and-center. Read more about the contest, here.
Tala was recognized for its innovative work in safeguarding and accelerating digital commerce by preventing advanced client-side attacks that target enterprise websites and web applications. We’ll endeavor to leverage this unique opportunity and platform to highlight our solutions, but more importantly, to raise awareness of the criticality and scope of threat that exists in the vast market that we address. I'm personally extremely excited, not just because Tala was selected, but because our selection highlights:
- Increasing awareness of the problem we are solve. Client-side attacks like Magecart, XSS, session-redirects and credit card skimming have accelerated significantly over the last 18 months.
- The marketplace and enterprise website owners are increasingly focused on addressing the problem and making it a priority for 2020 and beyond.
- Despite many existing and new market entrants trying to address the vast client-side attack vulnerability, Tala’s innovative approach was specifically recognized for its ability to scale and address the many attack vectors that are present.
- Our selection is a testament to our 3 “T”s (Technology, Traction and Team), as opposed to the many other me-too solutions that are limited to detection capabilities or point solutions that suffer scale and performance issues.
Exciting times are ahead for for Tala. Having recently been named a “Cool Vendor” by Gartner, I’ll close with a statement I wrote announcing this award.
“Looking forward, I firmly believe that it's going to take more than Tala to get the job done. Security vendors, enterprises and standards-bodies have to come together to upgrade web security and re-establish trust in the web. On that note, I really hope that RSA's Innovation Sandbox Finalist stamp of approval inspires more enterprise security organizations to tackle this critical threat. That wouldn't just be cool, that would be simply awesome!"
